    • Brugmansia arborea, commonly known as Angel's Trumpet, is a stunning flowering plant native to South America. Here are some general care instructions to help you keep your Brugmansia arborea healthy:

    • Light: Brugmansias thrive in full sun to partial shade. Ideally, they should receive at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. However, in hot climates, they may benefit from some afternoon shade to prevent leaf burn.

    • Temperature: Brugmansias prefer warm temperatures ranging from 18°C to 27°C during the day. They can tolerate cooler temperatures down to 4°C, but prolonged exposure to frost can damage or kill the plant.

    • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water your Brugmansia deeply whenever the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. During hot weather, they may require more frequent watering. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.

    • Soil: Plant Brugmansias in well-draining, fertile soil. A mix of potting soil, compost, and perlite or sand works well. Ensure containers have drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

    • Fertilization: Feed your Brugmansia with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (spring to early fall). Reduce fertilization in late fall and winter when growth slows down.

    • Pruning: Prune your Brugmansia regularly to maintain its shape and size. Remove dead or diseased branches, as well as any suckers growing from the base. You can also prune to encourage bushier growth and more flowers.

    • Pests and Diseases: Keep an eye out for common pests like aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies, which can sometimes affect Brugmansias. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil. Ensure good air circulation around the plant to prevent fungal diseases.

    • Winter Care:Brugmansias can be grown as annuals or overwintered indoors. Before the first frost, cut back the plant and move it indoors to a cool, bright location where temperatures remain above freezing. Reduce watering and fertilization during winter dormancy.

    • Toxicity: Brugmansias contain toxic compounds, including alkaloids, which can be harmful if ingested. Keep them out of reach of children and pets, and wear gloves when handling the plant to avoid skin irritation.
