    • Colocasia 'Black Coral' Care Instructions

      Light:
Prefers partial shade to filtered sunlight. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, but too little light may reduce color intensity.

      Water:
Keep the soil consistently moist. Colocasias love water and can even grow in shallow ponds. Do not let the soil dry out completely.

      Soil:
Thrives in rich, well-draining soil with lots of organic matter. A loamy mix is ideal.

      Temperature:
Loves warmth! Keep above 10°C (50°F). It grows best in temperatures between 18–30°C (65–85°F).

      Feeding:
Feed every 2–4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser.

      Winter Care:
Frost-tender. Bring indoors or store tubers in a cool, dry place if temperatures drop below 10°C. In mild areas, mulch heavily to protect the root system.
