    • Location: Choose a spot in your garden that receives full sun or partial shade. Eucomis bicolor prefers a warm and sunny location but can tolerate some shade.

    • Soil: The plant thrives in well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Amend heavy clay soils by adding compost or well-rotted manure to improve drainage.

    • Planting: Plant the bulbs in spring, after the last frost has passed. Dig a hole that is about twice the depth of the bulb and place it in the hole with the pointed end facing upwards. Space the bulbs around 15-20 centimeters apart.
